א1 שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ shir mizmor ledavidA Song, a Psalm of David. ב2 נָכוֹן לִבִּי אֱלֹהִים אָשִׁירָה וַאֲזַמְּרָה אַף־כְּבוֹדִֽי׃ nakhon libi Elohim ashirah vaazamrah af-kevodiMy heart is steadfast, O G-d; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory. ג3 עוּרָֽה הַנֵּבֶל וְכִנּוֹר אָעִירָה שָּֽׁחַר׃ urah hanevel vekhinor airah shacharAwake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn. ד4 אוֹדְךָ בָעַמִּים ׀ יְיָ וַאֲזַמֶּרְךָ בַּל־אֻמִּֽים׃ odkha vaamim ׀ Adonai vaazamerekha bal-umimI will give thanks unto Thee, O HaShem, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations. ה5 כִּֽי־גָדוֹל מֵֽעַל־שָׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּךָ וְֽעַד־שְׁחָקִים אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃ ki-gadol meal-shamayim chasdekha vead-shechakim amitekhaFor Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies. ו6 רוּמָה עַל־שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים וְעַל כָּל־הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃ rumah al-shamayim Elohim veal kal-haaretz kevodekhaBe Thou exalted, O G-d, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth. ז7 לְמַעַן יֵחָלְצוּן יְדִידֶיךָ הוֹשִׁיעָה יְמִֽינְךָ וַעֲנֵֽנִי׃ lemaan yechaltzun yedideikha hoshiyah yeminkha vaaneniThat Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me. ח8 אֱלֹהִים ׀ דִּבֶּר בְּקָדְשׁוֹ אֶעְלֹזָה אֲחַלְּקָה שְׁכֶם וְעֵמֶק סֻכּוֹת אֲמַדֵּֽד׃ Elohim ׀ diber bekadsho elozah achalkah shekhem veemek sukot amadedG-d spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. ט9 לִי גִלְעָד ׀ לִי מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרַיִם מָעוֹז רֹאשִׁי יְהוּדָה מְחֹקְקִֽי׃ li gilad ׀ li menasheh veefrayim maoz roshi yehudah mechokkiGilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre. י10 מוֹאָב ׀ סִיר רַחְצִי עַל־אֱדוֹם אַשְׁלִיךְ נַעֲלִי עֲלֵֽי־פְלֶשֶׁת אֶתְרוֹעָֽע׃ moav ׀ sir rachtzi al-edom ashlikh naali alei-feleshet etroaMoab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud. יא11 מִי יֹבִלֵנִי עִיר מִבְצָר מִי נָחַנִי עַד־אֱדֽוֹם׃ mi yovileni ir mivtzar mi nachani ad-edomWho will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom? יב12 הֲלֹֽא־אֱלֹהִים זְנַחְתָּנוּ וְֽלֹא־תֵצֵא אֱלֹהִים בְּצִבְאֹתֵֽינוּ׃ halo-Elohim zenachtanu velo-tetze Elohim betzivoteinuHast not Thou cast us off, O G-d? and Thou goest not forth, O G-d, with our hosts? יג13 הָֽבָה־לָּנוּ עֶזְרָת מִצָּר וְשָׁוְא תְּשׁוּעַת אָדָֽם׃ havah-lanu ezrat mitzar veshav teshuat adamGive us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man. יד14 בֵּֽאלֹהִים נַעֲשֶׂה־חָיִל וְהוּא יָבוּס צָרֵֽינוּ׃ belohim naaseh-chayil vehu yavus tzareinuThrough G-d we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
