א1 שִׁיר הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוָה כְּֽהַר־צִיּוֹן לֹא־יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵֽׁב׃ shir hamaalot habotechim bayhvah kehar-tziyon lo-yimot leolam yeshevA Song of Ascents. They that trust in HaShem are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever. ב2 יְֽרוּשָׁלִַם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ וַיהוָה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ yerushalaim harim saviv lah vayhvah saviv leamo meatah vead-olamAs the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so HaShem is round about His people, from this time forth and for ever. ג3 כִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַֽצַּדִּיקִים לְמַעַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶֽם׃ ki lo yanucha shevet haresha al goral hatzadikim lemaan lo-yishlchu hatzadikim beavlatah yedeihemFor the rod of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; that the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity. ד4 הֵיטִיבָה יְיָ לַטּוֹבִים וְלִֽישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃ heitivah Adonai latovim velisharim belibotamDo good, O HaShem, unto the good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. ה5 וְהַמַּטִּים עַֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָם יוֹלִיכֵם יְיָ אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵי הָאָוֶן שָׁלוֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ vehamatim akalkalotam yolikhem Adonai et-poalei haaven shalom al-yisraelBut as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, HaShem will lead them away with the workers of iniquity.
