א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ lamnatzecha livnei-korach maskilFor the Leader; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Maschil. ב2 אֱלֹהִים ׀ בְּאָזְנֵינוּ שָׁמַעְנוּ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ סִפְּרוּ־לָנוּ פֹּעַל פָּעַלְתָּ בִֽימֵיהֶם בִּימֵי קֶֽדֶם׃ Elohim ׀ beazneinu shamanu avoteinu sipru-lanu poal paalta vimeihem bimei kedemO G-d, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us; a work Thou didst in their days, in the days of old. ג3 אַתָּה ׀ יָדְךָ גּוֹיִם הוֹרַשְׁתָּ וַתִּטָּעֵם תָּרַע לְאֻמִּים וַֽתְּשַׁלְּחֵֽם׃ atah ׀ yadkha goyim horashta vatitaem tara leumim vatshalchemThou with Thy hand didst drive out the nations, and didst plant them in; Thou didst break the peoples, and didst spread them abroad. ד4 כִּי לֹא בְחַרְבָּם יָרְשׁוּ אָרֶץ וּזְרוֹעָם לֹא־הוֹשִׁיעָה לָּמוֹ כִּֽי־יְמִֽינְךָ וּזְרוֹעֲךָ וְאוֹר פָּנֶיךָ כִּי רְצִיתָֽם׃ ki lo vecharbam yarshu aretz uzroam lo-hoshiyah lamo ki-yeminkha uzroakha veor paneikha ki retzitamFor not by their own sword did they get the land in possession, neither did their own arm save them; but Thy right hand, and Thine arm, and the light of Thy countenance, because Thou wast favourable unto them. ה5 אַתָּה־הוּא מַלְכִּי אֱלֹהִים צַוֵּה יְשׁוּעוֹת יַעֲקֹֽב׃ atah-hu malki Elohim tzaveh yeshuot yaakovThou art my King, O G-d; command the salvation of Jacob. ו6 בְּךָ צָרֵינוּ נְנַגֵּחַ בְּשִׁמְךָ נָבוּס קָמֵֽינוּ׃ bekha tzareinu nenagecha beshimkha navus kameinuThrough Thee do we push down our adversaries; through Thy name do we tread them under that rise up against us. ז7 כִּי לֹא בְקַשְׁתִּי אֶבְטָח וְחַרְבִּי לֹא תוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃ ki lo vekashti evtach vecharbi lo toshiyeniFor I trust not in my bow, neither can my sword save me. ח8 כִּי הוֹשַׁעְתָּנוּ מִצָּרֵינוּ וּמְשַׂנְאֵינוּ הֱבִישֽׁוֹתָ׃ ki hoshatanu mitzareinu umsaneinu hevishotaBut Thou hast saved us from our adversaries, and hast put them to shame that hate us. ט9 בֵּֽאלֹהִים הִלַּלְנוּ כָל־הַיּוֹם וְשִׁמְךָ ׀ לְעוֹלָם נוֹדֶה סֶֽלָה׃ belohim hilalenu khal-hayom veshimkha ׀ leolam nodeh selahIn G-d have we gloried all the day, and we will give thanks unto Thy name for ever. Selah י10 אַף־זָנַחְתָּ וַתַּכְלִימֵנוּ וְלֹא־תֵצֵא בְּצִבְאוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ af-zanachta vatakhelimenu velo-tetze betzivoteinuYet Thou hast cast off, and brought us to confusion; and goest not forth with our hosts. יא11 תְּשִׁיבֵנוּ אָחוֹר מִנִּי־צָר וּמְשַׂנְאֵינוּ שָׁסוּ לָֽמוֹ׃ teshivenu achor mini-tzar umsaneinu shasu lamoThou makest us to turn back from the adversary; and they that hate us spoil at their will. יב12 תִּתְּנֵנוּ כְּצֹאן מַאֲכָל וּבַגּוֹיִם זֵרִיתָֽנוּ׃ titenenu ketzon maakhal uvagoyim zeritanuThou hast given us like sheep to be eaten; and hast scattered us among the nations. יג13 תִּמְכֹּֽר־עַמְּךָ בְלֹא־הוֹן וְלֹא־רִבִּיתָ בִּמְחִירֵיהֶֽם׃ timekor-amkha velo-hon velo-ribita bimechireihemThou sellest Thy people for small gain, and hast not set their prices high. יד14 תְּשִׂימֵנוּ חֶרְפָּה לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ לַעַג וָקֶלֶס לִסְבִיבוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ tesimenu cherpah lishkheneinu laag vakeles lisvivoteinuThou makest us a taunt to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. טו15 תְּשִׂימֵנוּ מָשָׁל בַּגּוֹיִם מְנֽוֹד־רֹאשׁ בַּל־אֻמִּֽים׃ tesimenu mashal bagoyim menod-rosh bal-umimThou makest us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples. טז16 כָּל־הַיּוֹם כְּלִמָּתִי נֶגְדִּי וּבֹשֶׁת פָּנַי כִּסָּֽתְנִי׃ kal-hayom kelimati negdi uvoshet panay kisateniAll the day is my confusion before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me, יז17 מִקּוֹל מְחָרֵף וּמְגַדֵּף מִפְּנֵי אוֹיֵב וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃ mikol mecharef umgadef mipnei oyev umitnakemFor the voice of him that taunteth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and the revengeful. יח18 כָּל־זֹאת בָּאַתְנוּ וְלֹא שְׁכַחֲנוּךָ וְלֹֽא־שִׁקַּרְנוּ בִּבְרִיתֶֽךָ׃ kal-zot baatnu velo shekhachanukha velo-shikarenu biveritekhaAll this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten Thee, neither have we been false to Thy covenant. יט19 לֹא־נָסוֹג אָחוֹר לִבֵּנוּ וַתֵּט אֲשֻׁרֵינוּ מִנִּי אָרְחֶֽךָ׃ lo-nasog achor libenu vatet ashureinu mini archekhaOur heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from Thy path; כ20 כִּי דִכִּיתָנוּ בִּמְקוֹם תַּנִּים וַתְּכַס עָלֵינוּ בְצַלְמָֽוֶת׃ ki dikitanu bimekom tanim vatkhas aleinu vetzalmavetThough Thou hast crushed us into a place of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death. כא21 אִם־שָׁכַחְנוּ שֵׁם אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַנִּפְרֹשׂ כַּפֵּינוּ לְאֵל זָֽר׃ im-shakhachnu shem eloheinu vaniferos kapeinu leel zarIf we had forgotten the name of our G-d, or spread forth our hands to a strange god; כב22 הֲלֹא אֱלֹהִים יַֽחֲקָר־זֹאת כִּֽי־הוּא יֹדֵעַ תַּעֲלֻמוֹת לֵֽב׃ halo Elohim yachakar-zot ki-hu yodea taalumot levWould not G-d search this out? For He knoweth the secrets of the heart. כג23 כִּֽי־עָלֶיךָ הֹרַגְנוּ כָל־הַיּוֹם נֶחְשַׁבְנוּ כְּצֹאן טִבְחָֽה׃ ki-aleikha horagnu khal-hayom nechshavnu ketzon tivchahNay, but for Thy sake are we killed all the day; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. כד24 עוּרָה ׀ לָמָּה תִישַׁן ׀ אֲדֹנָי הָקִיצָה אַל־תִּזְנַח לָנֶֽצַח׃ urah ׀ lamah tishan ׀ Adonai hakitzah al-tizenach lanetzachAwake, why sleepest Thou, O L-rd? Arouse Thyself, cast not off for ever. כה25 לָֽמָּה־פָנֶיךָ תַסְתִּיר תִּשְׁכַּח עָנְיֵנוּ וְֽלַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃ lamah-faneikha tastir tishekach anyenu velachatzenuWherefore hidest Thou Thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression? כו26 כִּי שָׁחָה לֶעָפָר נַפְשֵׁנוּ דָּבְקָה לָאָרֶץ בִּטְנֵֽנוּ׃ ki shachah leafar nafshenu davekah laaretz bitenenuFor our soul is bowed down to the dust; our belly cleaveth unto the earth. כז27 קוּמָֽה עֶזְרָתָה לָּנוּ וּפְדֵנוּ לְמַעַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ kumah ezratah lanu ufdenu lemaan chasdekhaArise for our help, and redeem us for Thy mercy's sake.

א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־שֹׁשַׁנִּים לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מַשְׂכִּיל שִׁיר יְדִידֹֽת׃ lamnatzecha al-shoshanim livnei-korach maskil shir yedidotFor the Leader; upon Shoshannim; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Maschil. A Song of loves. ב2 רָחַשׁ לִבִּי ׀ דָּבָר טוֹב אֹמֵר אָנִי מַעֲשַׂי לְמֶלֶךְ לְשׁוֹנִי עֵט ׀ סוֹפֵר מָהִֽיר׃ rachash libi ׀ davar tov omer ani maasay lemelekh leshoni et ׀ sofer mahirMy heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I say: 'My work is concerning a king'; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. ג3 יָפְיָפִיתָ מִבְּנֵי אָדָם הוּצַק חֵן בְּשְׂפְתוֹתֶיךָ עַל־כֵּן בֵּֽרַכְךָ אֱלֹהִים לְעוֹלָֽם׃ yafyafita mibnei adam hutzak chen beseftoteikha al-ken berakhkha Elohim leolamThou art fairer than the children of men; grace is poured upon thy lips; therefore G-d hath blessed thee for ever. ד4 חֲגֽוֹר־חַרְבְּךָ עַל־יָרֵךְ גִּבּוֹר הוֹדְךָ וַהֲדָרֶֽךָ׃ chagor-charbkha al-yarekh gibor hodkha vahadarekhaGird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty. ה5 וַהֲדָרְךָ ׀ צְלַח רְכַב עַֽל־דְּבַר־אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה־צֶדֶק וְתוֹרְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ vahadarkha ׀ tzelach rekhav al-devar-emet veanvah-tzedek vetorkha noraot yeminekhaAnd in thy majesty prosper, ride on, in behalf of truth and meekness and righteousness; and let thy right hand teach thee tremendous things. ו6 חִצֶּיךָ שְׁנוּנִים עַמִּים תַּחְתֶּיךָ יִפְּלוּ בְּלֵב אוֹיְבֵי הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ chitzeikha shenunim amim tacheteikha yiplu belev oyvei hamelekhThine arrows are sharp--the peoples fall under thee-- they sink into the heart of the king's enemies. ז7 כִּסְאֲךָ אֱלֹהִים עוֹלָם וָעֶד שֵׁבֶט מִישֹׁר שֵׁבֶט מַלְכוּתֶֽךָ׃ kiseakha Elohim olam vaed shevet mishor shevet malkhutekhaThy throne given of G-d is for ever and ever; a sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom. ח8 אָהַבְתָּ צֶּדֶק וַתִּשְׂנָא רֶשַׁע עַל־כֵּן ׀ מְשָׁחֲךָ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֶיךָ שֶׁמֶן שָׂשׂוֹן מֵֽחֲבֵרֶֽיךָ׃ ahavta tzedek vatisena resha al-ken ׀ meshachakha Elohim eloheikha shemen sason mechavereikhaThou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore G-d, thy G-d, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. ט9 מֹר־וַאֲהָלוֹת קְצִיעוֹת כָּל־בִּגְדֹתֶיךָ מִֽן־הֵיכְלֵי שֵׁן מִנִּי שִׂמְּחֽוּךָ׃ mor-vaahalot ketziyot kal-bigedoteikha min-heikhlei shen mini simchukhaMyrrh, and aloes, and cassia are all thy garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad. י10 בְּנוֹת מְלָכִים בְּיִקְּרוֹתֶיךָ נִצְּבָה שֵׁגַל לִֽימִינְךָ בְּכֶתֶם אוֹפִֽיר׃ benot melakhim beyikroteikha nitzvah shegal liminkha bekhetem ofirKings' daughters are among thy favourites; at thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir. יא11 שִׁמְעִי־בַת וּרְאִי וְהַטִּי אָזְנֵךְ וְשִׁכְחִי עַמֵּךְ וּבֵית אָבִֽיךְ׃ shimi-vat uri vehati aznekh veshikhchi amekhe uveit avikh'Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; יב12 וְיִתְאָו הַמֶּלֶךְ יָפְיֵךְ כִּי־הוּא אֲדֹנַיִךְ וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוִי־לֽוֹ׃ veyitav hamelekh yafyekh ki-hu adonayikh vehishtachavi-loSo shall the king desire thy beauty; for he is thy lord; and do homage unto him. יג13 וּבַֽת־צֹר ׀ בְּמִנְחָה פָּנַיִךְ יְחַלּוּ עֲשִׁירֵי עָֽם׃ uvat-tzor ׀ beminchah panayikh yechalu ashirei amAnd, O daughter of Tyre, the richest of the people shall entreat thy favour with a gift.' יד14 כָּל־כְּבוּדָּה בַת־מֶלֶךְ פְּנִימָה מִֽמִּשְׁבְּצוֹת זָהָב לְבוּשָֽׁהּ׃ kal-kevudah vat-melekh penimah mimishebtzot zahav levushahAll glorious is the king's daughter within the palace; her raiment is of chequer work inwrought with gold. טו15 לִרְקָמוֹת תּוּבַל לַמֶּלֶךְ בְּתוּלוֹת אַחֲרֶיהָ רֵעוֹתֶיהָ מוּבָאוֹת לָֽךְ׃ lirkamot tuval lamelekh betulot achareiha reoteiha muvaot lakhShe shall be led unto the king on richly woven stuff; the virgins her companions in her train being brought unto thee. טז16 תּוּבַלְנָה בִּשְׂמָחֹת וָגִיל תְּבֹאֶינָה בְּהֵיכַל מֶֽלֶךְ׃ tuvalnah bisemachot vagil tevoeinah beheikhal melekhThey shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall enter into the king's palace. יז17 תַּחַת אֲבֹתֶיךָ יִהְיוּ בָנֶיךָ תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ לְשָׂרִים בְּכָל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ tachat avoteikha yihyu vaneikha teshitemo lesarim bekhal-haaretzInstead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shalt make princes in all the land. יח18 אַזְכִּירָה שִׁמְךָ בְּכָל־דֹּר וָדֹר עַל־כֵּן עַמִּים יְהוֹדֻךָ לְעֹלָם וָעֶֽד׃ azkirah shimkha bekhal-dor vador al-ken amim yehodukha leolam vaedI will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.

א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח עַֽל־עֲלָמוֹת שִֽׁיר׃ lamnatzecha livnei-korach al-alamot shirFor the Leader; a Psalm of the sons of Korah; upon Alamoth. A Song. ב2 אֱלֹהִים לָנוּ מַחֲסֶה וָעֹז עֶזְרָה בְצָרוֹת נִמְצָא מְאֹֽד׃ Elohim lanu machaseh vaoz ezrah vetzarot nimtza meodG-d is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ג3 עַל־כֵּן לֹא־נִירָא בְּהָמִיר אָרֶץ וּבְמוֹט הָרִים בְּלֵב יַמִּֽים׃ al-ken lo-nira behamir aretz uvmot harim belev yamimTherefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas; ד4 יֶהֱמוּ יֶחְמְרוּ מֵימָיו יִֽרְעֲשֽׁוּ־הָרִים בְּגַאֲוָתוֹ סֶֽלָה׃ yehemu yechmru meimayv yirashu-harim begaavato selahThough the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. Selah ה5 נָהָר פְּלָגָיו יְשַׂמְּחוּ עִיר־אֱלֹהִים קְדֹשׁ מִשְׁכְּנֵי עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ nahar pelagayv yesamchu ir-Elohim kedosh mishknei elyonThere is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of G-d, the holiest dwelling-place of the Most High. ו6 אֱלֹהִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ בַּל־תִּמּוֹט יַעְזְרֶהָ אֱלֹהִים לִפְנוֹת בֹּֽקֶר׃ Elohim bekirbah bal-timot yazreha Elohim lifnot bokerG-d is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; G-d shall help her, at the approach of morning. ז7 הָמוּ גוֹיִם מָטוּ מַמְלָכוֹת נָתַן בְּקוֹלוֹ תָּמוּג אָֽרֶץ׃ hamu goyim matu mamlakhot natan bekolo tamug aretzNations were in tumult, kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. ח8 יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עִמָּנוּ מִשְׂגָּֽב־לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶֽלָה׃ Adonai tzevaot imanu misgav-lanu Elohei yaakov selahHaShem of hosts is with us; the G-d of Jacob is our high tower. Selah ט9 לְֽכוּ־חֲזוּ מִפְעֲלוֹת יְיָ אֲשֶׁר־שָׂם שַׁמּוֹת בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ lekhu-chazu mifalot Adonai asher-sam shamot baaretzCome, behold the works of HaShem, who hath made desolations in the earth. י10 מַשְׁבִּית מִלְחָמוֹת עַד־קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ קֶשֶׁת יְשַׁבֵּר וְקִצֵּץ חֲנִית עֲגָלוֹת יִשְׂרֹף בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ mashbit milchamot ad-ketzeh haaretz keshet yeshaber vekitzetz chanit agalot yisrof baeshHe maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire. יא11 הַרְפּוּ וּדְעוּ כִּי־אָנֹכִי אֱלֹהִים אָרוּם בַּגּוֹיִם אָרוּם בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ harpu udu ki-anokhi Elohim arum bagoyim arum baaretz'Let be, and know that I am G-d; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.' יב12 יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עִמָּנוּ מִשְׂגָּֽב־לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶֽלָה׃ Adonai tzevaot imanu misgav-lanu Elohei yaakov selahHaShem of hosts is with us; the G-d of Jacob is our high tower. א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ ׀ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃ lamnatzecha ׀ livnei-korach mizmorFor the Leader; a Psalm for the sons of Korah. ב2 כָּֽל־הָעַמִּים תִּקְעוּ־כָף הָרִיעוּ לֵאלֹהִים בְּקוֹל רִנָּֽה׃ kal-haamim tikeu-khaf hariyu lelohim bekol rinahO clap your hands, all ye peoples; shout unto G-d with the voice of triumph. ג3 כִּֽי־יְיָ עֶלְיוֹן נוֹרָא מֶלֶךְ גָּדוֹל עַל־כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ ki-Adonai elyon nora melekh gadol al-kal-haaretzFor HaShem is most high, awful; a great King over all the earth. ד4 יַדְבֵּר עַמִּים תַּחְתֵּינוּ וּלְאֻמִּים תַּחַת רַגְלֵֽינוּ׃ yadber amim tacheteinu ulumim tachat ragleinuHe subdueth peoples under us, and nations under our feet. ה5 יִבְחַר־לָנוּ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֵנוּ אֶת גְּאוֹן יַעֲקֹב אֲשֶׁר־אָהֵב סֶֽלָה׃ yivchar-lanu et-nachalatenu et geon yaakov asher-ahev selahHe chooseth our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob whom He loveth. Selah ו6 עָלָה אֱלֹהִים בִּתְרוּעָה יְהֹוָה בְּקוֹל שׁוֹפָֽר׃ alah Elohim biteruah Adonai bekol shofarG-d is gone up amidst shouting, HaShem amidst the sound of the horn. ז7 זַמְּרוּ אֱלֹהִים זַמֵּרוּ זַמְּרוּ לְמַלְכֵּנוּ זַמֵּֽרוּ׃ zamru Elohim zameru zamru lemalkenu zameruSing praises to G-d, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing praises. ח8 כִּי מֶלֶךְ כָּל־הָאָרֶץ אֱלֹהִים זַמְּרוּ מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ ki melekh kal-haaretz Elohim zamru maskilFor G-d is the King of all the earth; sing ye praises in a skilful song. ט9 מָלַךְ אֱלֹהִים עַל־גּוֹיִם אֱלֹהִים יָשַׁב ׀ עַל־כִּסֵּא קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ malakh Elohim al-goyim Elohim yashav ׀ al-kise kadshoG-d reigneth over the nations; G-d sitteth upon His holy throne. י10 נְדִיבֵי עַמִּים ׀ נֶאֱסָפוּ עַם אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם כִּי לֵֽאלֹהִים מָֽגִנֵּי־אֶרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלָֽה׃ nedivei amim ׀ neesafu am Elohei avraham ki lelohim maginei-eretz meod naalahThe princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the G-d of Abraham; for unto G-d belong the shields of the earth; He is greatly exalted.

א1 שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לִבְנֵי־קֹֽרַח׃ shir mizmor livnei-korachA Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. ב2 גָּדוֹל יְיָ וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד בְּעִיר אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַר־קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ gadol Adonai umhulal meod beir eloheinu har-kadshoGreat is HaShem, and highly to be praised, in the city of our G-d, His holy mountain, ג3 יְפֵה נוֹף מְשׂוֹשׂ כָּל־הָאָרֶץ הַר־צִיּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן קִרְיַת מֶלֶךְ רָֽב׃ yefeh nof mesos kal-haaretz har-tziyon yarktei tzafon kiryat melekh ravFair in situation, the joy of the whole earth; even mount Zion, the uttermost parts of the north, the city of the great King. ד4 אֱלֹהִים בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ נוֹדַע לְמִשְׂגָּֽב׃ Elohim bearmnoteiha noda lemisgavG-d in her palaces hath made Himself known for a stronghold. ה5 כִּֽי־הִנֵּה הַמְּלָכִים נֽוֹעֲדוּ עָבְרוּ יַחְדָּֽו׃ ki-hineh hamlakhim noadu avru yachdavFor, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they came onward together. ו6 הֵמָּה רָאוּ כֵּן תָּמָהוּ נִבְהֲלוּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּ׃ hemah rau ken tamahu nivhalu nechpazuThey saw, straightway they were amazed; they were affrighted, they hasted away. ז7 רְעָדָה אֲחָזָתַם שָׁם חִיל כַּיּוֹלֵֽדָה׃ readah achazatam sham chil kayoledahTrembling took hold of them there, pangs, as of a woman in travail. ח8 בְּרוּחַ קָדִים תְּשַׁבֵּר אֳנִיּוֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃ berucha kadim teshaber oniyot tareshishWith the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish. ט9 כַּאֲשֶׁר שָׁמַעְנוּ ׀ כֵּן רָאִינוּ בְּעִיר־יְיָ צְבָאוֹת בְּעִיר אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֱלֹהִים יְכוֹנְנֶהָ עַד־עוֹלָם סֶֽלָה׃ kaasher shamanu ׀ ken rainu beir-Adonai tzevaot beir eloheinu Elohim yekhonneha ad-olam selahAs we have heard, so have we seen in the city of HaShem of hosts, in the city of our G-d--G-d establish it for ever. Selah י10 דִּמִּינוּ אֱלֹהִים חַסְדֶּךָ בְּקֶרֶב הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃ diminu Elohim chasdekha bekerev heikhalekhaWe have thought on Thy lovingkindness, O G-d, in the midst of Thy temple. יא11 כְּשִׁמְךָ אֱלֹהִים כֵּן תְּהִלָּתְךָ עַל־קַצְוֵי־אֶרֶץ צֶדֶק מָלְאָה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ keshimkha Elohim ken tehilatekha al-katzvei-eretz tzedek malah yeminekhaAs is Thy name, O G-d, so is Thy praise unto the ends of the earth; Thy right hand is full of righteousness. יב12 יִשְׂמַח ׀ הַר־צִיּוֹן תָּגֵלְנָה בְּנוֹת יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃ yismach ׀ har-tziyon tagelnah benot yehudah lemaan mishpateikhaLet mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of Thy judgments. יג13 סֹבּוּ צִיּוֹן וְהַקִּיפוּהָ סִפְרוּ מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָ׃ sobu tziyon vehakifuha sifru migdaleihaWalk about Zion, and go round about her; count the towers thereof. יד14 שִׁיתוּ לִבְּכֶם ׀ לְֽחֵילָה פַּסְּגוּ אַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ לְמַעַן תְּסַפְּרוּ לְדוֹר אַחֲרֽוֹן׃ shitu libkhem ׀ lecheilah pasegu armnoteiha lemaan tesapru ledor acharonMark ye well her ramparts, traverse her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. טו15 כִּי זֶה ׀ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵינוּ עוֹלָם וָעֶד הוּא יְנַהֲגֵנוּ עַל־מֽוּת׃ ki zeh ׀ Elohim eloheinu olam vaed hu yenahagenu al-mutFor such is G-d, our G-d, for ever and ever; He will guide us eternally.
