א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַֽל־הַגִּתִּית לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃ lamnatzecha al-hagitit livnei-korach mizmorFor the Leader; upon the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. ב2 מַה־יְּדִידוֹת מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶיךָ יְיָ צְבָאֽוֹת׃ mah-yedidot mishknoteikha Adonai tzevaotHow lovely are Thy tabernacles, O HaShem of hosts! ג3 נִכְסְפָה וְגַם־כָּלְתָה ׀ נַפְשִׁי לְחַצְרוֹת יְיָ לִבִּי וּבְשָׂרִי יְרַנְּנוּ אֶל אֵֽל־חָֽי׃ nikhsfah vegam-kaletah ׀ nafshi lechatzrot Adonai libi uvsari yerannu el el-chayMy soul yearneth, yea, even pineth for the courts of HaShem; my heart and my flesh sing for joy unto the living G-d. ד4 גַּם־צִפּוֹר ׀ מָצְאָה בַיִת וּדְרוֹר ׀ קֵן לָהּ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁתָה אֶפְרֹחֶיהָ אֶֽת־מִזְבְּחוֹתֶיךָ יְיָ צְבָאוֹת מַלְכִּי וֵאלֹהָֽי׃ gam-tzipor ׀ matzah vayit udror ׀ ken lah asher-shatah efrocheiha et-mizbchoteikha Adonai tzevaot malki velohayYea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young; Thine altars, O HaShem of hosts, my King, and my G-d--. ה5 אַשְׁרֵי יוֹשְׁבֵי בֵיתֶךָ עוֹד יְֽהַלְלוּךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ ashrei yoshvei veitekha od yehallukha selahHappy are they that dwell in Thy house, they are ever praising Thee. Selah ו6 אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם עֽוֹז־לוֹ בָךְ מְסִלּוֹת בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ ashrei adam oz-lo vakh mesilot bilevavamHappy is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the highways. ז7 עֹבְרֵי ׀ בְּעֵמֶק הַבָּכָא מַעְיָן יְשִׁיתוּהוּ גַּם־בְּרָכוֹת יַעְטֶה מוֹרֶֽה׃ ovrei ׀ beemek habakha mayan yeshituhu gam-berakhot yateh morehPassing through the valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; yea, the early rain clotheth it with blessings. ח8 יֵלְכוּ מֵחַיִל אֶל־חָיִל יֵרָאֶה אֶל־אֱלֹהִים בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃ yelkhu mechayil el-chayil yeraeh el-Elohim betziyonThey go from strength to strength, every one of them appeareth before G-d in Zion. ט9 יְיָ אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת שִׁמְעָה תְפִלָּתִי הַאֲזִינָה אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶֽלָה׃ Adonai Elohim tzevaot shimah tefilati haazinah Elohei yaakov selahO HaShem G-d of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O G-d of Jacob. Selah י10 מָגִנֵּנוּ רְאֵה אֱלֹהִים וְהַבֵּט פְּנֵי מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ maginenu reeh Elohim vehabet penei meshichekhaBehold, O G-d our shield, and look upon the face of Thine anointed. יא11 כִּי טֽוֹב־יוֹם בַּחֲצֵרֶיךָ מֵאָלֶף בָּחַרְתִּי הִסְתּוֹפֵף בְּבֵית אֱלֹהַי מִדּוּר בְּאָהֳלֵי־רֶֽשַׁע׃ ki tov-yom bachatzereikha mealef bacharti histofef beveit elohay midur beaholei-reshaFor a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand; I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my G-d, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. יב12 כִּי שֶׁמֶשׁ ׀ וּמָגֵן יְיָ אֱלֹהִים חֵן וְכָבוֹד יִתֵּן יְיָ לֹא יִמְנַע־טוֹב לַֽהֹלְכִים בְּתָמִֽים׃ ki shemesh ׀ umagen Adonai Elohim chen vekhavod yiten Adonai lo yimna-tov laholkhim betamimFor HaShem G-d is a sun and a shield; HaShem giveth grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. יג13 יְיָ צְבָאוֹת אַֽשְׁרֵי אָדָם בֹּטֵחַ בָּֽךְ׃ Adonai tzevaot ashrei adam botecha bakheO HaShem of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in Thee.
