א1 שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָֽף׃ shir mizmor leasafA Song, a Psalm of Asaph. ב2 אֱלֹהִים אַל־דֳּמִי־לָךְ אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ וְאַל־תִּשְׁקֹט אֵֽל׃ Elohim al-domi-lakh al-techerash veal-tishekot elO G-d, keep not Thou silence; hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O G-d. ג3 כִּֽי־הִנֵּה אוֹיְבֶיךָ יֶהֱמָיוּן וּמְשַׂנְאֶיךָ נָשְׂאוּ רֹֽאשׁ׃ ki-hineh oyveikha yehemayun umsaneikha nasu roshFor, lo, Thine enemies are in an uproar; and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head. ד4 עַֽל־עַמְּךָ יַעֲרִימוּ סוֹד וְיִתְיָעֲצוּ עַל־צְפוּנֶֽיךָ׃ al-amkha yaarimu sod veyityaatzu al-tzefuneikhaThey hold crafty converse against Thy people, and take counsel against Thy treasured ones. ה5 אָמְרוּ לְכוּ וְנַכְחִידֵם מִגּוֹי וְלֹֽא־יִזָּכֵר שֵֽׁם־יִשְׂרָאֵל עֽוֹד׃ amru lekhu venakhchidem migoy velo-yizakher shem-yisrael odThey have said: 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.' ו6 כִּי נוֹעֲצוּ לֵב יַחְדָּו עָלֶיךָ בְּרִית יִכְרֹֽתוּ׃ ki noatzu lev yachdav aleikha berit yikhrotuFor they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant; ז7 אָהֳלֵי אֱדוֹם וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִים מוֹאָב וְהַגְרִֽים׃ aholei edom veyishmelim moav vehagrimThe tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites; ח8 גְּבָל וְעַמּוֹן וַעֲמָלֵק פְּלֶשֶׁת עִם־יֹשְׁבֵי צֽוֹר׃ geval veamon vaamalek peleshet im-yoshvei tzorGebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; ט9 גַּם־אַשּׁוּר נִלְוָה עִמָּם הָיוּ זְרוֹעַ לִבְנֵי־לוֹט סֶֽלָה׃ gam-ashur nilvah imam hayu zeroa livnei-lot selahAssyria also is joined with them; they have been an arm to the children of Lot. Selah י10 עֲשֵֽׂה־לָהֶם כְּמִדְיָן כְּֽסִֽיסְרָא כְיָבִין בְּנַחַל קִישֽׁוֹן׃ aseh-lahem kemidyan kesisra kheyavin benachal kishonDo Thou unto them as unto Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon; יא11 נִשְׁמְדוּ בְֽעֵין־דֹּאר הָיוּ דֹּמֶן לָאֲדָמָֽה׃ nishmdu veein-dor hayu domen laadamahWho were destroyed at En-dor; they became as dung for the earth. יב12 שִׁיתֵמוֹ נְדִיבֵמוֹ כְּעֹרֵב וְכִזְאֵב וּֽכְזֶבַח וּכְצַלְמֻנָּע כָּל־נְסִיכֵֽמוֹ׃ shitemo nedivemo keorev vekhizev ukhzevach ukhtzalmuna kal-nesikhemoMake their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and like Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes; יג13 אֲשֶׁר אָמְרוּ נִירֲשָׁה לָּנוּ אֵת נְאוֹת אֱלֹהִֽים׃ asher amru nirashah lanu et neot elohimWho said: 'Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of G-d.' יד14 אֱֽלֹהַי שִׁיתֵמוֹ כַגַּלְגַּל כְּקַשׁ לִפְנֵי־רֽוּחַ׃ elohay shitemo khagalegal kekash lifnei-ruchaO my G-d, make them like the whirling dust; as stubble before the wind. טו15 כְּאֵשׁ תִּבְעַר־יָעַר וּכְלֶהָבָה תְּלַהֵט הָרִֽים׃ keesh tivear-yaar ukhlehavah telahet harimAs the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze; טז16 כֵּן תִּרְדְּפֵם בְּסַעֲרֶךָ וּבְסוּפָתְךָ תְבַהֲלֵֽם׃ ken tiredfem besaarekha uvsufatkha tevahalemSo pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm. יז17 מַלֵּא פְנֵיהֶם קָלוֹן וִֽיבַקְשׁוּ שִׁמְךָ יְהוָֽה׃ male feneihem kalon vivakshu shimkha AdonaiFill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy name, O HaShem. יח18 יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ עֲדֵי־עַד וְֽיַחְפְּרוּ וְיֹאבֵֽדוּ׃ yevoshu veyibahalu adei-ad veyachpru veyoveduLet them be ashamed and affrighted for ever; yea, let them be abashed and perish; יט19 וְֽיֵדְעוּ כִּֽי־אַתָּה שִׁמְךָ יְיָ לְבַדֶּךָ עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ veyedu ki-atah shimkha Adonai levadekha elyon al-kal-haaretzThat they may know that it is Thou alone whose name is HaShem, the Most High over all the earth.
