א1 מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף אֵל ׀ אֱֽלֹהִים יְֽהוָה דִּבֶּר וַיִּקְרָא־אָרֶץ מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד־מְבֹאֽוֹ׃ mizmor leasaf el ׀ elohim Adonai diber vayikera-aretz mimizerach-shemesh ad-mevooA Psalm of Asaph. G-d, G-d, HaShem, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. ב2 מִצִּיּוֹן מִכְלַל־יֹפִי אֱלֹהִים הוֹפִֽיעַ׃ mitziyon mikhlal-yofi Elohim hofiyaOut of Zion, the perfection of beauty, G-d hath shined forth. ג3 יָבֹא אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְֽאַל־יֶחֱרַשׁ אֵשׁ־לְפָנָיו תֹּאכֵל וּסְבִיבָיו נִשְׂעֲרָה מְאֹֽד׃ yavo eloheinu veal-yecherash esh-lefanayv tokhel usvivayv nisarah meodOur G-d cometh, and doth not keep silence; a fire devoureth before Him, and round about Him it stormeth mightily. ד4 יִקְרָא אֶל־הַשָּׁמַיִם מֵעָל וְאֶל־הָאָרֶץ לָדִין עַמּֽוֹ׃ yikra el-hashamayim meal veel-haaretz ladin amoHe calleth to the heavens above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people: ה5 אִסְפוּ־לִי חֲסִידָי כֹּרְתֵי בְרִיתִי עֲלֵי־זָֽבַח׃ isfu-li chasiday koretei veriti alei-zavach'Gather My saints together unto Me; those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.' ו6 וַיַּגִּידוּ שָׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִים ׀ שֹׁפֵט הוּא סֶֽלָה׃ vayagidu shamayim tzidko ki-Elohim ׀ shofet hu selahAnd the heavens declare His righteousness; for G-d, He is judge. Selah ז7 שִׁמְעָה עַמִּי ׀ וַאֲדַבֵּרָה יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָעִידָה בָּךְ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֶיךָ אָנֹֽכִי׃ shimah ami ׀ vaadaberah yisrael veaidah bakhe Elohim eloheikha anokhi'Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: G-d, thy G-d, am I. ח8 לֹא עַל־זְבָחֶיךָ אוֹכִיחֶךָ וְעוֹלֹתֶיךָ לְנֶגְדִּי תָמִֽיד׃ lo al-zevacheikha okhichekha veoloteikha lenegdi tamidI will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; and thy burnt-offerings are continually before Me. ט9 לֹא־אֶקַּח מִבֵּיתְךָ פָר מִמִּכְלְאֹתֶיךָ עַתּוּדִֽים׃ lo-ekach mibeitkha far mimikheloteikha atudimI will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds. י10 כִּי־לִי כָל־חַיְתוֹ־יָעַר בְּהֵמוֹת בְּהַרְרֵי־אָֽלֶף׃ ki-li khal-chayto-yaar behemot beharrei-alefFor every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. יא11 יָדַעְתִּי כָּל־עוֹף הָרִים וְזִיז שָׂדַי עִמָּדִֽי׃ yadati kal-of harim veziz saday imadiI know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. יב12 אִם־אֶרְעַב לֹא־אֹמַר לָךְ כִּי־לִי תֵבֵל וּמְלֹאָֽהּ׃ im-erav lo-omar lakh ki-li tevel umloahIf I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is Mine, and the fulness thereof. יג13 הַֽאוֹכַל בְּשַׂר אַבִּירִים וְדַם עַתּוּדִים אֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃ haokhal besar abirim vedam atudim eshtehDo I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? יד14 זְבַח לֵאלֹהִים תּוֹדָה וְשַׁלֵּם לְעֶלְיוֹן נְדָרֶֽיךָ׃ zevach lelohim todah veshalem leelyon nedareikhaOffer unto G-d the sacrifice of thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the Most High; טו15 וּקְרָאֵנִי בְּיוֹם צָרָה אֲחַלֶּצְךָ וּֽתְכַבְּדֵֽנִי׃ ukraeni beyom tzarah achaletzekha utkhabdeniAnd call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt honour Me.' טז16 וְלָרָשָׁע ׀ אָמַר אֱלֹהִים מַה־לְּךָ לְסַפֵּר חֻקָּי וַתִּשָּׂא בְרִיתִי עֲלֵי־פִֽיךָ׃ velarasha ׀ amar Elohim mah-lekha lesaper chukay vatisa veriti alei-fikhaBut unto the wicked G-d saith: 'What hast thou to do to declare My statutes, and that thou hast taken My covenant in thy mouth? יז17 וְאַתָּה שָׂנֵאתָ מוּסָר וַתַּשְׁלֵךְ דְּבָרַי אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃ veatah saneta musar vatashelekh devaray achareikhaSeeing thou hatest instruction, and castest My words behind thee. יח18 אִם־רָאִיתָ גַנָּב וַתִּרֶץ עִמּוֹ וְעִם מְנָאֲפִים חֶלְקֶֽךָ׃ im-raita ganav vatiretz imo veim menaafim chelkekhaWhen thou sawest a thief, thou hadst company with him, and with adulterers was thy portion. יט19 פִּיךָ שָׁלַחְתָּ בְרָעָה וּלְשׁוֹנְךָ תַּצְמִיד מִרְמָֽה׃ pikha shalachta veraah ulshonkha tatzemid mirmahThou hast let loose thy mouth for evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. כ20 תֵּשֵׁב בְּאָחִיךָ תְדַבֵּר בְּבֶֽן־אִמְּךָ תִּתֶּן־דֹּֽפִי׃ teshev beachikha tedaber beven-imkha titen-dofiThou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. כא21 אֵלֶּה עָשִׂיתָ ׀ וְֽהֶחֱרַשְׁתִּי דִּמִּיתָ הֱֽיוֹת־אֶֽהְיֶה כָמוֹךָ אוֹכִיחֲךָ וְאֶֽעֶרְכָה לְעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ eleh asita ׀ vehecherashti dimita heyot-ehyeh khamokha okhichakha veerkhah leeineikhaThese things hast thou done, and should I have kept silence? Thou hadst thought that I was altogether such a one as thyself; but I will reprove thee, and set the cause before thine eyes. כב22 בִּֽינוּ־נָא זֹאת שֹׁכְחֵי אֱלוֹהַּ פֶּן־אֶטְרֹף וְאֵין מַצִּֽיל׃ binu-na zot shokhchei eloha pen-etrof veein matzilNow consider this, ye that forget G-d, lest I tear in pieces, and there be none to deliver. כג23 זֹבֵחַ תּוֹדָה יְֽכַבְּדָנְנִי וְשָׂם דֶּרֶךְ אַרְאֶנּוּ בְּיֵשַׁע אֱלֹהִֽים׃ zovecha todah yekhabdanni vesam derekh arenu beyesha elohimWhoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving honoureth Me; and to him that ordereth his way aright will I show the salvation of G-d.'
