תהילים פרק ע״א · Psalm 71

א1 בְּךָֽ־יְיָ חָסִיתִי אַל־אֵבוֹשָׁה לְעוֹלָֽם׃ bekha-Adonai chasiti al-evoshah leolamIn Thee, O HaShem, have I taken refuge; let me never be ashamed. ב2 בְּצִדְקָתְךָ תַּצִּילֵנִי וּֽתְפַלְּטֵנִי הַטֵּֽה־אֵלַי אָזְנְךָ וְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃ betzidkatkha tatzileni utfalteni hateh-elay aznkha vehoshiyeniDeliver me in Thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline Thine ear unto me, and save me. ג3 הֱיֵה לִי ׀ לְצוּר מָעוֹן לָבוֹא תָּמִיד צִוִּיתָ לְהוֹשִׁיעֵנִי כִּֽי־סַלְעִי וּמְצוּדָתִי אָֽתָּה׃ heyeh li ׀ letzur maon lavo tamid tzivita lehoshiyeni ki-sali umtzudati atahBe Thou to me a sheltering rock, whereunto I may continually resort, which Thou hast appointed to save me; for Thou art my rock and my fortress. ד4 אֱֽלֹהַי פַּלְּטֵנִי מִיַּד רָשָׁע מִכַּף מְעַוֵּל וְחוֹמֵץ׃ elohay paleteni miyad rasha mikaf meavel vechometzO my G-d, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man. ה5 כִּֽי־אַתָּה תִקְוָתִי אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה מִבְטַחִי מִנְּעוּרָֽי׃ ki-atah tikvati Adonai Adonai mivtachi minurayFor Thou art my hope; O L-rd GOD, my trust from my youth. ו6 עָלֶיךָ ׀ נִסְמַכְתִּי מִבֶּטֶן מִמְּעֵי אִמִּי אַתָּה גוֹזִי בְּךָ תְהִלָּתִי תָמִֽיד׃ aleikha ׀ nismakhti mibeten mimei imi atah gozi bekha tehilati tamidUpon Thee have I stayed myself from birth; Thou art he that took me out of my mother's womb; my praise is continually of Thee. ז7 כְּמוֹפֵת הָיִיתִי לְרַבִּים וְאַתָּה מַֽחֲסִי־עֹֽז׃ kemofet hayiti lerabim veatah machasi-ozI am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge. ח8 יִמָּלֵא פִי תְּהִלָּתֶךָ כָּל־הַיּוֹם תִּפְאַרְתֶּֽךָ׃ yimale fi tehilatekha kal-hayom tifeartekhaMy mouth shall be filled with Thy praise, and with Thy glory all the day. ט9 אַֽל־תַּשְׁלִיכֵנִי לְעֵת זִקְנָה כִּכְלוֹת כֹּחִי אַֽל־תַּעַזְבֵֽנִי׃ al-tashelikheni leet ziknah kikhelot kochi al-taazveniCast me not off in the time of old age; when my strength faileth, forsake me not. י10 כִּֽי־אָמְרוּ אוֹיְבַי לִי וְשֹׁמְרֵי נַפְשִׁי נוֹעֲצוּ יַחְדָּֽו׃ ki-amru oyvay li veshomrei nafshi noatzu yachdavFor mine enemies speak concerning me, and they that watch for my soul take counsel together, יא11 לֵאמֹר אֱלֹהִים עֲזָבוֹ רִֽדְפוּ וְתִפְשׂוּהוּ כִּי־אֵין מַצִּֽיל׃ lemor Elohim azavo ridfu vetifsuhu ki-ein matzilSaying: 'G-d hath forsaken him; pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.' יב12 אֱלֹהִים אַל־תִּרְחַק מִמֶּנִּי אֱלֹהַי לְעֶזְרָתִי חישה׃ Elohim al-tirechak mimeni elohay leezrati chyshhO G-d, be not far from me; O my G-d, make haste to help me. יג13 יֵבֹשׁוּ יִכְלוּ שֹׂטְנֵי נַפְשִׁי יַֽעֲטוּ חֶרְפָּה וּכְלִמָּה מְבַקְשֵׁי רָעָתִֽי׃ yevoshu yikhlu sotnei nafshi yaatu cherpah ukhlimah mevakshei raatiLet them be ashamed and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and confusion that seek my hurt. יד14 וַאֲנִי תָּמִיד אֲיַחֵל וְהוֹסַפְתִּי עַל־כָּל־תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ vaani tamid ayachel vehosafti al-kal-tehilatekhaBut as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise Thee yet more and more. טו15 פִּי ׀ יְסַפֵּר צִדְקָתֶךָ כָּל־הַיּוֹם תְּשׁוּעָתֶךָ כִּי לֹא יָדַעְתִּי סְפֹרֽוֹת׃ pi ׀ yesaper tzidkatekha kal-hayom teshuatekha ki lo yadati seforotMy mouth shall tell of Thy righteousness, and of Thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. טז16 אָבוֹא בִּגְבֻרוֹת אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אַזְכִּיר צִדְקָתְךָ לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃ avo bigevurot Adonai Adonai azkir tzidkatkha levadekhaI will come with Thy mighty acts, O L-rd GOD; I will make mention of Thy righteousness, even of Thine only. יז17 אֱֽלֹהִים לִמַּדְתַּנִי מִנְּעוּרָי וְעַד־הֵנָּה אַגִּיד נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ elohim limadetani minuray vead-henah agid nifloteikhaO G-d, Thou hast taught me from my youth; and until now do I declare Thy wondrous works. יח18 וְגַם עַד־זִקְנָה ׀ וְשֵׂיבָה אֱלֹהִים אַֽל־תַּעַזְבֵנִי עַד־אַגִּיד זְרוֹעֲךָ לְדוֹר לְכָל־יָבוֹא גְּבוּרָתֶֽךָ׃ vegam ad-ziknah ׀ veseivah Elohim al-taazveni ad-agid zeroakha ledor lekhal-yavo gevuratekhaAnd even unto old age and hoary hairs, O G-d, forsake me not; until I have declared Thy strength unto the next generation, Thy might to every one that is to come. יט19 וְצִדְקָתְךָ אֱלֹהִים עַד־מָרוֹם אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתָ גְדֹלוֹת אֱלֹהִים מִי כָמֽוֹךָ׃ vetzidkatkha Elohim ad-marom asher-asita gedolot Elohim mi khamokhaThy righteousness also, O G-d, which reacheth unto high heaven; Thou who hast done great things, O G-d, who is like unto Thee? כ20 אֲשֶׁר הראיתנו ׀ צָרוֹת רַבּוֹת וְרָעוֹת תָּשׁוּב תחיינו וּֽמִתְּהֹמוֹת הָאָרֶץ תָּשׁוּב תַּעֲלֵֽנִי׃ asher hrytnv ׀ tzarot rabot veraot tashuv tchyynv umithomot haaretz tashuv taaleniThou, who hast made me to see many and sore troubles, wilt quicken me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth. כא21 תֶּרֶב ׀ גְּֽדֻלָּתִי וְתִסֹּב תְּֽנַחֲמֵֽנִי׃ terev ׀ gedulati vetisov tenachameniThou wilt increase my greatness, and turn and comfort me. כב22 גַּם־אֲנִי ׀ אוֹדְךָ בִכְלִי־נֶבֶל אֲמִתְּךָ אֱלֹהָי אֲזַמְּרָה לְךָ בְכִנּוֹר קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ gam-ani ׀ odkha vikhli-nevel amitkha elohay azamrah lekha vekhinor kedosh yisraelI also will give thanks unto Thee with the psaltery, even unto Thy truth, O my G-d; I will sing praises unto Thee with the harp, O Thou Holy One of Israel. כג23 תְּרַנֵּנָּה שְׂפָתַי כִּי אֲזַמְּרָה־לָּךְ וְנַפְשִׁי אֲשֶׁר פָּדִֽיתָ׃ teranenah sefatay ki azamrah-lakhe venafshi asher paditaMy lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto Thee; and my soul, which Thou hast redeemed. כד24 גַּם־לְשׁוֹנִי כָּל־הַיּוֹם תֶּהְגֶּה צִדְקָתֶךָ כִּי־בֹשׁוּ כִֽי־חָפְרוּ מְבַקְשֵׁי רָעָתִֽי׃ gam-leshoni kal-hayom tehegeh tzidkatekha ki-voshu khi-chafru mevakshei raatiMy tongue also shall tell of Thy righteousness all the day; for they are ashamed, for they are abashed, that seek my hurt.
