א1 יְיָ מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּֽים׃ Adonai malakh tagel haaretz yismchu iyim rabimHaShem reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad. ב2 עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ׃ anan vaarafel sevivayv tzedek umishpat mekhon kiseoClouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. ג3 אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָֽיו׃ esh lefanayv telekh utlahet saviv tzarayvA fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about. ד4 הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָֽרֶץ׃ heiru verakayv tevel raatah vatachel haaretzHis lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled. ה5 הָרִים כַּדּוֹנַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְיָ מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדוֹן כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ harim kadonag namasu milifenei Adonai milifenei adon kal-haaretzThe mountains melted like wax at the presence of HaShem, at the presence of the L-rd of the whole earth. ו6 הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כָל־הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃ higidu hashamayim tzidko verau khal-haamim kevodoThe heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory. ז7 יֵבֹשׁוּ ׀ כָּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּֽתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹ כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ yevoshu ׀ kal-ovdei fesel hamitehallim baelilim hishtachavu-lo kal-elohimAshamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods. ח8 שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח ׀ צִיּוֹן וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנוֹת יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהוָֽה׃ shamah vatisemach ׀ tziyon vatagelnah benot yehudah lemaan mishpateikha AdonaiZion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O HaShem. ט9 כִּֽי־אַתָּה יְיָ עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ ki-atah Adonai elyon al-kal-haaretz meod naaleita al-kal-elohimFor Thou, HaShem, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods. י10 אֹהֲבֵי יְיָ שִׂנְאוּ רָע שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹת חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵֽם׃ ohavei Adonai sinu ra shomer nafshot chasidayv miyad reshaim yatzilemO ye that love HaShem, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked. יא11 אוֹר זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּֽלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב שִׂמְחָֽה׃ or zarua latzadik ulyishrei-lev simchahLight is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. יב12 שִׂמְחוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּֽיהוָה וְהוֹדוּ לְזֵכֶר קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ simchu tzadikim bayhvah vehodu lezekher kadshoBe glad in HaShem, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
