A Psalm of David. ב2 אָמַרְתִּי אֶֽשְׁמְרָה דְרָכַי מֵחֲטוֹא בִלְשׁוֹנִי אֶשְׁמְרָה לְפִי מַחְסוֹם בְּעֹד רָשָׁע לְנֶגְדִּֽי׃ amarti eshmrah derakhay mechato vilshoni eshmrah lefi machsom beod rasha lenegdiI said: 'I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue; I will keep a curb upon my mouth, while the wicked is before me.' ג3 נֶאֱלַמְתִּי דוּמִיָּה הֶחֱשֵׁיתִי מִטּוֹב וּכְאֵבִי נֶעְכָּֽר׃ neelamti dumiyah hechesheiti mitov ukhevi nekarI was dumb with silence; I held my peace, had no comfort; and my pain was held in check. ד4 חַם־לִבִּי ׀ בְּקִרְבִּי בַּהֲגִיגִי תִבְעַר־אֵשׁ דִּבַּרְתִּי בִּלְשֽׁוֹנִי׃ cham-libi ׀ bekirbi bahagigi tivar-esh dibareti bileshoniMy heart waxed hot within me; while I was musing, the fire kindled; then spoke I with my tongue: ה5 הוֹדִיעֵנִי יְיָ ׀ קִצִּי וּמִדַּת יָמַי מַה־הִיא אֵדְעָה מֶה־חָדֵל אָֽנִי׃ hodiyeni Adonai ׀ kitzi umidat yamay mah-hi edah meh-chadel ani'HaShem, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; let me know how short-lived I am. ו6 הִנֵּה טְפָחוֹת ׀ נָתַתָּה יָמַי וְחֶלְדִּי כְאַיִן נֶגְדֶּךָ אַךְ כָּֽל־הֶבֶל כָּל־אָדָם נִצָּב סֶֽלָה׃ hineh tefachot ׀ natatah yamay vecheldi kheayin negdekha akh kal-hevel kal-adam nitzav selahBehold, Thou hast made my days as hand-breadths; and mine age is as nothing before Thee; surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah ז7 אַךְ־בְּצֶלֶם ׀ יִֽתְהַלֶּךְ־אִישׁ אַךְ־הֶבֶל יֶהֱמָיוּן יִצְבֹּר וְֽלֹא־יֵדַע מִי־אֹסְפָֽם׃ akh-betzelem ׀ yithalekhe-ish akh-hevel yehemayun yitzbor velo-yeda mi-osfamSurely man walketh as a mere semblance; surely for vanity they are in turmoil; he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. ח8 וְעַתָּה מַה־קִּוִּיתִי אֲדֹנָי תּוֹחַלְתִּי לְךָ הִֽיא׃ veatah mah-kiviti Adonai tochalti lekha hiAnd now, L-rd, what wait I for? My hope, it is in Thee. ט9 מִכָּל־פְּשָׁעַי הַצִּילֵנִי חֶרְפַּת נָבָל אַל־תְּשִׂימֵֽנִי׃ mikal-peshaay hatzileni cherpat naval al-tesimeniDeliver me from all my transgressions; make me not the reproach of the base. י10 נֶאֱלַמְתִּי לֹא אֶפְתַּח־פִּי כִּי אַתָּה עָשִֽׂיתָ׃ neelamti lo eftach-pi ki atah asitaI am dumb, I open not my mouth; because Thou hast done it. יא11 הָסֵר מֵעָלַי נִגְעֶךָ מִתִּגְרַת יָדְךָ אֲנִי כָלִֽיתִי׃ haser mealay nigekha mitigerat yadkha ani khalitiRemove Thy stroke from off me; I am consumed by the blow of Thy hand. יב12 בְּֽתוֹכָחוֹת עַל־עָוֺן ׀ יִסַּרְתָּ אִישׁ וַתֶּמֶס כָּעָשׁ חֲמוּדוֹ אַךְ הֶבֶל כָּל־אָדָם סֶֽלָה׃ betokhachot al-aon ׀ yisareta ish vatemes kaash chamudo akh hevel kal-adam selahWith rebukes dost Thou chasten man for iniquity, and like a moth Thou makest his beauty to consume away; surely every man is vanity. Selah יג13 שִֽׁמְעָה־תְפִלָּתִי ׀ יְיָ וְשַׁוְעָתִי ׀ הַאֲזִינָה אֶֽל־דִּמְעָתִי אַֽל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ כִּי גֵר אָנֹכִי עִמָּךְ תּוֹשָׁב כְּכָל־אֲבוֹתָֽי׃ shimah-tefilati ׀ Adonai veshavati ׀ haazinah el-dimeati al-techerash ki ger anokhi imakhe toshav kekhal-avotayHear my prayer, O HaShem, and give ear unto my cry; keep not silence at my tears; for I am a stranger with Thee, a sojourner, as all my fathers were. יד14 הָשַׁע מִמֶּנִּי וְאַבְלִיגָה בְּטֶרֶם אֵלֵךְ וְאֵינֶֽנִּי׃ hasha mimeni veavligah beterem elekh veeineniLook away from me, that I may take comfort, before I go hence, and be no more.'

A Psalm of David. ב2 קַוֺּה קִוִּיתִי יְיָ וַיֵּט אֵלַי וַיִּשְׁמַע שַׁוְעָתִֽי׃ kaoh kiviti Adonai vayet elay vayishema shavatiI waited patiently for HaShem; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. ג3 וַיַּעֲלֵנִי ׀ מִבּוֹר שָׁאוֹן מִטִּיט הַיָּוֵן וַיָּקֶם עַל־סֶלַע רַגְלַי כּוֹנֵן אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃ vayaaleni ׀ mibor shaon mitit hayaven vayakem al-sela raglay konen ashurayHe brought me up also out of the tumultuous pit, out of the miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock, He established my goings. ד4 וַיִּתֵּן בְּפִי ׀ שִׁיר חָדָשׁ תְּהִלָּה לֵֽאלֹהֵינוּ יִרְאוּ רַבִּים וְיִירָאוּ וְיִבְטְחוּ בַּיהוָֽה׃ vayiten befi ׀ shir chadash tehilah leloheinu yiru rabim veyirau veyivtchu bayhvahAnd He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our G-d; many shall see, and fear, and shall trust in HaShem. ה5 אַשְֽׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר אֲשֶׁר־שָׂם יְהֹוָה מִבְטַחוֹ וְֽלֹא־פָנָה אֶל־רְהָבִים וְשָׂטֵי כָזָֽב׃ ashrei hagever asher-sam Adonai mivtacho velo-fanah el-rehavim vesatei khazavHappy is the man that hath made HaShem his trust, and hath not turned unto the arrogant, nor unto such as fall away treacherously. ו6 רַבּוֹת עָשִׂיתָ ׀ אַתָּה ׀ יְיָ אֱלֹהַי נִֽפְלְאֹתֶיךָ וּמַחְשְׁבֹתֶיךָ אֵלֵינוּ אֵין ׀ עֲרֹךְ אֵלֶיךָ אַגִּידָה וַאֲדַבֵּרָה עָצְמוּ מִסַּפֵּֽר׃ rabot asita ׀ atah ׀ Adonai elohay nifloteikha umachshvoteikha eleinu ein ׀ arokh eleikha agidah vaadaberah atzmu misaperMany things hast Thou done, O HaShem my G-d, even Thy wonderful works, and Thy thoughts toward us; there is none to be compared unto Thee! If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be told. ז7 זֶבַח וּמִנְחָה ׀ לֹֽא־חָפַצְתָּ אָזְנַיִם כָּרִיתָ לִּי עוֹלָה וַחֲטָאָה לֹא שָׁאָֽלְתָּ׃ zevach uminchah ׀ lo-chafatzta aznayim karita li olah vachataah lo shaaltaSacrifice and meal-offering Thou hast no delight in; mine ears hast Thou opened; burnt-offering and sin-offering hast Thou not required. ח8 אָז אָמַרְתִּי הִנֵּה־בָאתִי בִּמְגִלַּת־סֵפֶר כָּתוּב עָלָֽי׃ az amarti hineh-vati bimegilat-sefer katuv alayThen said I: 'Lo, I am come with the roll of a book which is prescribed for me; ט9 לַֽעֲשֽׂוֹת־רְצוֹנְךָ אֱלֹהַי חָפָצְתִּי וְתוֹרָתְךָ בְּתוֹךְ מֵעָֽי׃ laasot-retzonkha elohay chafatzti vetoratkha betokh meayI delight to do Thy will, O my G-d; yea, Thy law is in my inmost parts.' י10 בִּשַּׂרְתִּי צֶדֶק ׀ בְּקָהָל רָב הִנֵּה שְׂפָתַי לֹא אֶכְלָא יְיָ אַתָּה יָדָֽעְתָּ׃ bisareti tzedek ׀ bekahal rav hineh sefatay lo ekhla Adonai atah yadataI have preached righteousness in the great congregation, lo, I did not refrain my lips; O HaShem, Thou knowest. יא11 צִדְקָתְךָ לֹא־כִסִּיתִי ׀ בְּתוֹךְ לִבִּי אֱמוּנָתְךָ וּתְשׁוּעָתְךָ אָמָרְתִּי לֹא־כִחַדְתִּי חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ לְקָהָל רָֽב׃ tzidkatkha lo-khisiti ׀ betokh libi emunatkha utshuatkha amarti lo-khichadti chasdkha vaamitkha lekahal ravI have not hid Thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared Thy faithfulness and Thy salvation; I have not concealed Thy mercy and Thy truth from the great congregation. יב12 אַתָּה יְיָ לֹא־תִכְלָא רַחֲמֶיךָ מִמֶּנִּי חַסְדְּךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ תָּמִיד יִצְּרֽוּנִי׃ atah Adonai lo-tikhla rachameikha mimeni chasdkha vaamitkha tamid yitzruniThou, O HaShem, wilt not withhold Thy compassions from me; let Thy mercy and Thy truth continually preserve me. יג13 כִּי אָפְפוּ־עָלַי ׀ רָעוֹת עַד־אֵין מִסְפָּר הִשִּׂיגוּנִי עֲוֺנֹתַי וְלֹא־יָכֹלְתִּי לִרְאוֹת עָצְמוּ מִשַּֽׂעֲרוֹת רֹאשִׁי וְלִבִּי עֲזָבָֽנִי׃ ki affu-alay ׀ raot ad-ein mispar hisiguni aonotay velo-yakholti lirot atzmu misaarot roshi velibi azavaniFor innumerable evils have compassed me about, mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart hath failed me. יד14 רְצֵה יְיָ לְהַצִּילֵנִי יְיָ לְעֶזְרָתִי חֽוּשָׁה׃ retzeh Adonai lehatzileni Adonai leezrati chushahBe pleased, O HaShem, to deliver me; O HaShem, make haste to help me. טו15 יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ ׀ יַחַד מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשִׁי לִסְפּוֹתָהּ יִסֹּגוּ אָחוֹר וְיִכָּלְמוּ חֲפֵצֵי רָעָתִֽי׃ yevoshu veyachpru ׀ yachad mevakshei nafshi lispotah yisogu achor veyikalemu chafetzei raatiLet them be ashamed and abashed together that seek after my soul to sweep it away; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt. טז16 יָשֹׁמּוּ עַל־עֵקֶב בָּשְׁתָּם הָאֹמְרִים לִי הֶאָח ׀ הֶאָֽח׃ yashomu al-ekev bashetam haomrim li heach ׀ heachLet them be appalled by reason of their shame that say unto me: 'Aha, aha.' יז17 יָשִׂישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ ׀ בְּךָ כָּֽל־מְבַקְשֶׁיךָ יֹאמְרוּ תָמִיד יִגְדַּל יְיָ אֹֽהֲבֵי תְּשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃ yasisu veyismchu ׀ bekha kal-mevaksheikha yomru tamid yigdal Adonai ohavei teshuatekhaLet all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'The HaShem be magnified.' יח18 וַאֲנִי ׀ עָנִי וְאֶבְיוֹן אֲדֹנָי יַחֲשָׁב לִי עֶזְרָתִי וּמְפַלְטִי אַתָּה אֱלֹהַי אַל־תְּאַחַֽר׃ vaani ׀ ani veevyon Adonai yachashav li ezrati umfalti atah elohay al-teacharBut, as for me, that am poor and needy, the L-rd will account it unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O my G-d, tarry not.

A Psalm of David. ב2 אַשְׁרֵי מַשְׂכִּיל אֶל־דָּל בְּיוֹם רָעָה יְֽמַלְּטֵהוּ יְהוָֽה׃ ashrei maskil el-dal beyom raah yemaltehu AdonaiHappy is he that considereth the poor; HaShem will deliver him in the day of evil. ג3 יְיָ ׀ יִשְׁמְרֵהוּ וִֽיחַיֵּהוּ יאשר בָּאָרֶץ וְאַֽל־תִּתְּנֵהוּ בְּנֶפֶשׁ אֹיְבָֽיו׃ Adonai ׀ yishmrehu vichayehu yshr baaretz veal-titenehu benefesh oyvayvHaShem preserve him, and keep him alive, let him be called happy in the land; and deliver not Thou him unto the greed of his enemies. ד4 יְֽהוָה יִסְעָדֶנּוּ עַל־עֶרֶשׂ דְּוָי כָּל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹ הָפַכְתָּ בְחָלְיֽוֹ׃ Adonai yisadenu al-eres devay kal-mishkavo hafakhta vechalyoHaShem support him upon the bed of illness; mayest Thou turn all his lying down in his sickness. ה5 אֲֽנִי־אָמַרְתִּי יְיָ חָנֵּנִי רְפָאָה נַפְשִׁי כִּי־חָטָאתִי לָֽךְ׃ ani-amarti Adonai chaneni refaah nafshi ki-chatati lakhAs for me, I said: 'O HaShem, be gracious unto me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against Thee.' ו6 אוֹיְבַי יֹאמְרוּ רַע לִי מָתַי יָמוּת וְאָבַד שְׁמֽוֹ׃ oyvay yomru ra li matay yamut veavad shemoMine enemies speak evil of me: 'When shall he die, and his name perish?' ז7 וְאִם־בָּא לִרְאוֹת ׀ שָׁוְא יְדַבֵּר לִבּוֹ יִקְבָּץ־אָוֶן לוֹ יֵצֵא לַחוּץ יְדַבֵּֽר׃ veim-ba lirot ׀ shav yedaber libo yikbatz-aven lo yetze lachutz yedaberAnd if one come to see me, he speaketh falsehood; his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he speaketh of it. ח8 יַחַד עָלַי יִתְלַחֲשׁוּ כָּל־שֹׂנְאָי עָלַי ׀ יַחְשְׁבוּ רָעָה לִֽי׃ yachad alay yitlachashu kal-sonay alay ׀ yachshvu raah liAll that hate me whisper together against me, against me do they devise my hurt: ט9 דְּֽבַר־בְּלִיַּעַל יָצוּק בּוֹ וַאֲשֶׁר שָׁכַב לֹא־יוֹסִיף לָקֽוּם׃ devar-beliyaal yatzuk bo vaasher shakhav lo-yosif lakum'An evil thing cleaveth fast unto him; and now that he lieth, he shall rise up no more.' י10 גַּם־אִישׁ שְׁלוֹמִי ׀ אֲשֶׁר־בָּטַחְתִּי בוֹ אוֹכֵל לַחְמִי הִגְדִּיל עָלַי עָקֵֽב׃ gam-ish shelomi ׀ asher-batachti vo okhel lachmi higdil alay akevYea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. יא11 וְאַתָּה יְיָ חָנֵּנִי וַהֲקִימֵנִי וַֽאֲשַׁלְּמָה לָהֶֽם׃ veatah Adonai chaneni vahakimeni vaashalmah lahemBut Thou, O HaShem, be gracious unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. יב12 בְּזֹאת יָדַעְתִּי כִּֽי־חָפַצְתָּ בִּי כִּי לֹֽא־יָרִיעַ אֹיְבִי עָלָֽי׃ bezot yadati ki-chafatzta bi ki lo-yariya oyvi alayBy this I know that Thou delightest in me, that mine enemy doth not triumph over me. יג13 וַאֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי תָּמַכְתָּ בִּי וַתַּצִּיבֵנִי לְפָנֶיךָ לְעוֹלָֽם׃ vaani betumi tamakhta bi vatatziveni lefaneikha leolamAnd as for me, Thou upholdest me because of mine integrity, and settest me before Thy face for ever. יד14 בָּרוּךְ יְיָ ׀ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵֽהָעוֹלָם וְעַד הָעוֹלָם אָמֵן ׀ וְאָמֵֽן׃ barukh Adonai ׀ Elohei yisrael mehaolam vead haolam amen ׀ veamenBlessed be HaShem, the G-d of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting. א1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ מַשְׂכִּיל לִבְנֵי־קֹֽרַח׃ lamnatzecha maskil livnei-korachFor the Leader; Maschil of the sons of Korah. ב2 כְּאַיָּל תַּעֲרֹג עַל־אֲפִֽיקֵי־מָיִם כֵּן נַפְשִׁי תַעֲרֹג אֵלֶיךָ אֱלֹהִֽים׃ keayal taarog al-afikei-mayim ken nafshi taarog eleikha elohimAs the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after Thee, O G-d. ג3 צָמְאָה נַפְשִׁי ׀ לֵאלֹהִים לְאֵל חָי מָתַי אָבוֹא וְאֵרָאֶה פְּנֵי אֱלֹהִֽים׃ tzamah nafshi ׀ lelohim leel chay matay avo veeraeh penei elohimMy soul thirsteth for G-d, for the living G-d: 'When shall I come and appear before G-d?' ד4 הָֽיְתָה־לִּי דִמְעָתִי לֶחֶם יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה בֶּאֱמֹר אֵלַי כָּל־הַיּוֹם אַיֵּה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ haytah-li dimati lechem yomam valaylah beemor elay kal-hayom ayeh eloheikhaMy tears have been my food day and night, while they say unto me all the day: 'Where is Thy G-d?' ה5 אֵלֶּה אֶזְכְּרָה ׀ וְאֶשְׁפְּכָה עָלַי ׀ נַפְשִׁי כִּי אֶֽעֱבֹר ׀ בַּסָּךְ אֶדַּדֵּם עַד־בֵּית אֱלֹהִים בְּקוֹל־רִנָּה וְתוֹדָה הָמוֹן חוֹגֵֽג׃ eleh ezkrah ׀ veeshpkhah alay ׀ nafshi ki eevor ׀ basakhe edadem ad-beit Elohim bekol-rinah vetodah hamon chogegThese things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, how I passed on with the throng, and led them to the house of G-d, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday. ו6 מַה־תִּשְׁתּוֹחֲחִי ׀ נַפְשִׁי וַתֶּהֱמִי עָלָי הוֹחִילִי לֵֽאלֹהִים כִּי־עוֹד אוֹדֶנּוּ יְשׁוּעוֹת פָּנָֽיו׃ mah-tishetochachi ׀ nafshi vatehemi alay hochili lelohim ki-od odenu yeshuot panayvWhy art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in G-d; for I shall yet praise Him for the salvation of His countenance. ז7 אֱֽלֹהַי עָלַי נַפְשִׁי תִשְׁתּוֹחָח עַל־כֵּן אֶזְכָּרְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ יַרְדֵּן וְחֶרְמוֹנִים מֵהַר מִצְעָֽר׃ elohay alay nafshi tishtochach al-ken ezkarekha meeretz yarden vechermonim mehar mitzarO my G-d, my soul is cast down within me; therefore do I remember Thee from the land of Jordan, and the Hermons, from the hill Mizar. ח8 תְּהֽוֹם־אֶל־תְּהוֹם קוֹרֵא לְקוֹל צִנּוֹרֶיךָ כָּֽל־מִשְׁבָּרֶיךָ וְגַלֶּיךָ עָלַי עָבָֽרוּ׃ tehom-el-tehom kore lekol tzinoreikha kal-mishbareikha vegaleikha alay avaruDeep calleth unto deep at the voice of Thy cataracts; all Thy waves and Thy billows are gone over me. ט9 יוֹמָם ׀ יְצַוֶּה יְיָ ׀ חַסְדּוֹ וּבַלַּיְלָה שירה עִמִּי תְּפִלָּה לְאֵל חַיָּֽי׃ yomam ׀ yetzaveh Adonai ׀ chasdo uvalayelah shyrh imi tefilah leel chayayBy day HaShem will command His lovingkindness, and in the night His song shall be with me, even a prayer unto the G-d of my life. י10 אוֹמְרָה ׀ לְאֵל סַלְעִי לָמָה שְׁכַחְתָּנִי לָֽמָּה־קֹדֵר אֵלֵךְ בְּלַחַץ אוֹיֵֽב׃ omrah ׀ leel sali lamah shekhachtani lamah-koder elekh belachatz oyevI will say unto G-d my Rock: 'Why hast Thou forgotten me? א1 שָׁפְטֵנִי אֱלֹהִים ׀ וְרִיבָה רִיבִי מִגּוֹי לֹא־חָסִיד מֵאִישׁ־מִרְמָה וְעַוְלָה תְפַלְּטֵֽנִי׃ shafteni Elohim ׀ verivah rivi migoy lo-chasid meish-mirmah veavlah tefalteniBe Thou my judge, O G-d, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. ב2 כִּֽי־אַתָּה ׀ אֱלֹהֵי מָֽעוּזִּי לָמָה זְנַחְתָּנִי לָֽמָּה־קֹדֵר אֶתְהַלֵּךְ בְּלַחַץ אוֹיֵֽב׃ ki-atah ׀ Elohei mauzi lamah zenachtani lamah-koder ethalekhe belachatz oyevFor Thou art the G-d of my strength; why hast Thou cast me off? Why go I mourning under the oppression of the enemy? ג3 שְׁלַח־אוֹרְךָ וַאֲמִתְּךָ הֵמָּה יַנְחוּנִי יְבִיאוּנִי אֶל־הַֽר־קָדְשְׁךָ וְאֶל־מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ shelach-orkha vaamitkha hemah yanchuni yeviyuni el-har-kadshkha veel-mishknoteikhaO send out Thy light and Thy truth; let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy holy mountain, and to Thy dwelling-places. ד4 וְאָבוֹאָה ׀ אֶל־מִזְבַּח אֱלֹהִים אֶל־אֵל שִׂמְחַת גִּילִי וְאוֹדְךָ בְכִנּוֹר אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהָֽי׃ veavoah ׀ el-mizbach Elohim el-el simchat gili veodkha vekhinor Elohim elohayThen will I go unto the altar of G-d, unto G-d, my exceeding joy; and praise Thee upon the harp, O G-d, my G-d. ה5 מַה־תִּשְׁתּוֹחֲחִי ׀ נַפְשִׁי וּֽמַה־תֶּהֱמִי עָלָי הוֹחִילִי לֵֽאלֹהִים כִּי־עוֹד אוֹדֶנּוּ יְשׁוּעֹת פָּנַי וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃ mah-tishetochachi ׀ nafshi umah-tehemi alay hochili lelohim ki-od odenu yeshuot panay velohayWhy art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in G-d; for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my G-d.
