א1 לִשְׁלֹמֹה ׀ אֱֽלֹהִים מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לְמֶלֶךְ תֵּן וְצִדְקָתְךָ לְבֶן־מֶֽלֶךְ׃ lishlomoh ׀ elohim mishpateikha lemelekh ten vetzidkatkha leven-melekhA Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O G-d, and Thy righteousness unto the king's son; ב2 יָדִין עַמְּךָ בְצֶדֶק וַעֲנִיֶּיךָ בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ yadin amkha vetzedek vaaniyeikha vemishpatThat he may judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with justice. ג3 יִשְׂאוּ הָרִים שָׁלוֹם לָעָם וּגְבָעוֹת בִּצְדָקָֽה׃ yisu harim shalom laam ugvaot bitzedakahLet the mountains bear peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness. ד4 יִשְׁפֹּט ׀ עֲֽנִיֵּי־עָם יוֹשִׁיעַ לִבְנֵי אֶבְיוֹן וִֽידַכֵּא עוֹשֵֽׁק׃ yishpot ׀ aniyei-am yoshiya livnei evyon vidake oshekMay he judge the poor of the people, and save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor. ה5 יִֽירָאוּךָ עִם־שָׁמֶשׁ וְלִפְנֵי יָרֵחַ דּוֹר דּוֹרִֽים׃ yiraukha im-shamesh velifnei yarecha dor dorimThey shall fear Thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations. ו6 יֵרֵד כְּמָטָר עַל־גֵּז כִּרְבִיבִים זַרְזִיף אָֽרֶץ׃ yered kematar al-gez kirevivim zarzif aretzMay he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth. ז7 יִֽפְרַח־בְּיָמָיו צַדִּיק וְרֹב שָׁלוֹם עַד־בְּלִי יָרֵֽחַ׃ yifrach-beyamayv tzadik verov shalom ad-beli yarechaIn his days let the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more. ח8 וְיֵרְדְּ מִיָּם עַד־יָם וּמִנָּהָר עַד־אַפְסֵי־אָֽרֶץ׃ veyerd miyam ad-yam uminahar ad-afsei-aretzMay he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth. ט9 לְפָנָיו יִכְרְעוּ צִיִּים וְאֹיְבָיו עָפָר יְלַחֵֽכוּ׃ lefanayv yikhru tziyim veoyvayv afar yelachekhuLet them that dwell in the wilderness bow before him; and his enemies lick the dust. י10 מַלְכֵי תַרְשִׁישׁ וְאִיִּים מִנְחָה יָשִׁיבוּ מַלְכֵי שְׁבָא וּסְבָא אֶשְׁכָּר יַקְרִֽיבוּ׃ malkhei tarshish veiyim minchah yashivu malkhei sheva usva eshkar yakrivuThe kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. יא11 וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹ כָל־מְלָכִים כָּל־גּוֹיִם יַֽעַבְדֽוּהוּ׃ veyishtachavu-lo khal-melakhim kal-goyim yaavduhuYea, all kings shall prostrate themselves before him; all nations shall serve him. יב12 כִּֽי־יַצִּיל אֶבְיוֹן מְשַׁוֵּעַ וְעָנִי וְֽאֵין־עֹזֵר לֽוֹ׃ ki-yatzil evyon meshavea veani veein-ozer loFor he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. יג13 יָחֹס עַל־דַּל וְאֶבְיוֹן וְנַפְשׁוֹת אֶבְיוֹנִים יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ yachos al-dal veevyon venafshot evyonim yoshiyaHe will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save. יד14 מִתּוֹךְ וּמֵחָמָס יִגְאַל נַפְשָׁם וְיֵיקַר דָּמָם בְּעֵינָֽיו׃ mitokh umechamas yigal nafsham veyeikar damam beeinayvHe will redeem their soul from oppression and violence, and precious will their blood be in his sight. טו15 וִיחִי וְיִתֶּן־לוֹ מִזְּהַב שְׁבָא וְיִתְפַּלֵּל בַּעֲדוֹ תָמִיד כָּל־הַיּוֹם יְבָרֲכֶֽנְהֽוּ׃ vichi veyiten-lo mizhav sheva veyitpalel baado tamid kal-hayom yevarakhenhuThat they may live, and that he may give them of the gold of Sheba, that they may pray for him continually, yea, bless him all the day. טז16 יְהִי פִסַּת־בַּר ׀ בָּאָרֶץ בְּרֹאשׁ הָרִים יִרְעַשׁ כַּלְּבָנוֹן פִּרְיוֹ וְיָצִיצוּ מֵעִיר כְּעֵשֶׂב הָאָֽרֶץ׃ yehi fisat-bar ׀ baaretz berosh harim yirash kalevanon pireyo veyatzitzu meir keesev haaretzMay he be as a rich cornfield in the land upon the top of the mountains; may his fruit rustle like Lebanon; and may they blossom out of the city like grass of the earth. יז17 יְהִי שְׁמוֹ לְֽעוֹלָם לִפְנֵי־שֶׁמֶשׁ ינין שְׁמוֹ וְיִתְבָּרְכוּ בוֹ כָּל־גּוֹיִם יְאַשְּׁרֽוּהוּ׃ yehi shemo leolam lifnei-shemesh ynyn shemo veyitbarekhu vo kal-goyim yeashruhuMay his name endure for ever; may his name be continued as long as the sun; may men also bless themselves by him; may all nations call him happy. יח18 בָּרוּךְ ׀ יְיָ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עֹשֵׂה נִפְלָאוֹת לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ barukh ׀ Adonai Elohim Elohei yisrael oseh niflaot levadoBlessed be HaShem G-d, the G-d of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things; יט19 וּבָרוּךְ ׀ שֵׁם כְּבוֹדוֹ לְעוֹלָם וְיִמָּלֵא כְבוֹדוֹ אֶת־כֹּל הָאָרֶץ אָמֵן ׀ וְאָמֵֽן׃ uvarukh ׀ shem kevodo leolam veyimale khevodo et-kol haaretz amen ׀ veamenAnd blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. כ20 כָּלּוּ תְפִלּוֹת דָּוִד בֶּן־יִשָֽׁי׃ kalu tefilot david ben-yishayThe prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended. BOOK III
