א1 הַֽלְלוּ־יָהּ הַלְלִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃ hallu-yah halli nafshi et-AdonaiHallelujah. Praise HaShem, O my soul. ב2 אֲהַלְלָה יְיָ בְּחַיָּי אֲזַמְּרָה לֵֽאלֹהַי בְּעוֹדִֽי׃ ahallah Adonai bechayay azamrah lelohay beodiI will praise HaShem while I live; I will sing praises unto my G-d while I have my being. ג3 אַל־תִּבְטְחוּ בִנְדִיבִים בְּבֶן־אָדָם ׀ שֶׁאֵֽין לוֹ תְשׁוּעָֽה׃ al-tivetchu vindivim beven-adam ׀ sheein lo teshuahPut not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. ד4 תֵּצֵא רוּחוֹ יָשֻׁב לְאַדְמָתוֹ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָבְדוּ עֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָֽיו׃ tetze rucho yashuv leadmato bayom hahu avdu eshtonotayvHis breath goeth forth, he returneth to his dust; in that very day his thoughts perish. ה5 אַשְׁרֵי שֶׁאֵל יַעֲקֹב בְּעֶזְרוֹ שִׂבְרוֹ עַל־יְיָ אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ ashrei sheel yaakov beezro sivro al-Adonai elohayvHappy is he whose help is the G-d of Jacob, whose hope is in HaShem his G-d, ו6 עֹשֶׂה ׀ שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ אֶת־הַיָּם וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּם הַשֹּׁמֵר אֱמֶת לְעוֹלָֽם׃ oseh ׀ shamayim vaaretz et-hayam veet-kal-asher-bam hashomer emet leolamWho made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is; who keepeth truth for ever; ז7 עֹשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט ׀ לָעֲשׁוּקִים נֹתֵן לֶחֶם לָרְעֵבִים יְיָ מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִֽים׃ oseh mishpat ׀ laashukim noten lechem larevim Adonai matir asurimWho executeth justice for the oppressed; who giveth bread to the hungry. HaShem looseth the prisoners; ח8 יְיָ ׀ פֹּקֵחַ עִוְרִים יְיָ זֹקֵף כְּפוּפִים יְיָ אֹהֵב צַדִּיקִֽים׃ Adonai ׀ pokecha ivrim Adonai zokef kefufim Adonai ohev tzadikimHaShem openeth the eyes of the blind; HaShem raiseth up them that are bowed down; HaShem loveth the righteous; ט9 יְיָ ׀ שֹׁמֵר אֶת־גֵּרִים יָתוֹם וְאַלְמָנָה יְעוֹדֵד וְדֶרֶךְ רְשָׁעִים יְעַוֵּֽת׃ Adonai ׀ shomer et-gerim yatom vealmanah yeoded vederekh reshaim yeavetHaShem preserveth the strangers; He upholdeth the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked He maketh crooked. י10 יִמְלֹךְ יְיָ ׀ לְעוֹלָם אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן לְדֹר וָדֹר הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ yimlokh Adonai ׀ leolam elohayikh tziyon ledor vador hallu-yahHaShem will reign for ever, Thy G-d, O Zion, unto all generations.
